Wool, Cashmere and Cotton Cloths: Lebrun Paris Noble Materials

Lebrun Paris cloths are chosen for their hand, their drape and their ability to structure a masculine silhouette: wool, cashmere, cotton, gabardine and corduroy.

At Lebrun Paris, the choice of fabric is a founding step. Every material is rigorously selected for its quality, durability and structure, to guarantee elegant, modern pieces made in France. Exceptional English cloths, fine wools and premium cashmeres compose a wardrobe designed to last and carry through the seasons.

Our wools for coats and jackets

When creating coats and jackets, particularly for the Autumn/Winter collections, particular attention is paid to the composition of the materials and their weight. These criteria are essential to meet the demands of the climate while maintaining an elegant silhouette.

Carefully controlled compositions, suited to use

The wools used for coats and jackets are made of 100% wool, cashmere and wool blends, or blends containing at most 25% synthetic fibres, to preserve the natural qualities of the fabric while improving its resistance where necessary.

High fabric weights for optimal protection

The minimum weight of the wools used is 350 g/m², guaranteeing structure and hold.

Some pieces, such as the double-breasted coat or the overshirt, reach a weight of 900 g/m², offering reinforced protection against the cold and a strong visual presence.

Inner trimmings essential to the structure of the garment

Beyond the fabric, Lebrun Paris pays particular attention to the invisible elements that ensure the hold and longevity of its jackets: shoulder pads, chest pieces, tailor's canvas, fusible interlining, horsehair and other reinforcing trimmings. These technical details guarantee the structure, support and comfort of each piece.
